Right now Deanna is in Florida preparing to speak at their General Assembly meeting. It's another reminder of how hopelessly lost I would be without her. Day 2 and I already miss her and the kids tremendously. During the Assembly, she'll have 5 minutes to introduce our family and the work that we will be doing in Tanzania. We hope that this will introduce us to individuals and churches that would like to become a part of our team.
Back here in Ohio, I'm at the First Church of God Missions Garage Sale. So many people have been working a tremendous amount of hours to prepare for this huge sale, in which the proceeds will go towards supporting our work in Africa. Check out the pictures below, it is really unbelievable. I can't begin to say Thank You enough for their love and generosity. We have been blessed to be a part of this congregation for the last 7 years, and time and time again they reach out their hands and their hearts to us.
After 8 years as pastors in Mansfield, OH the Church of God in Tanzania, Africa asked us to oversee and provide accountability for the Safina Child Sponsorship program. After transferring leadership of that program into the hands of Tanzanians, we've followed God's call back to the U.S. Check out the postings below to stay updated on our process, life, and ministry.
