Deanna, Ian, and myself recently headed over to Anderson for some more meetings with the staff at Global Missions. (Elliana stayed with Nana and Grandpa and was subsequently spoiled). After 2 days and a ton of information we headed back through a mild blizzard to Mansfield.
The trip was great, the people were great, and we were even more excited to begin our ministry with Global Missions and Children of Promise.
The most excited news of all to come from these meetings though, was that we are now scheduled for our pre-field trip to Tanzania. In February we will be joining Linda Mason from Children of Promise and spending a couple of weeks in Africa. This time everyone is coming, and we've got some seriously long flights to prepare for. We will keep you updated on our progress leading up to the trip and have lots of great pictures and video to show you when we return.
Please pray for us as we prepare for this major step in our process, and in dealing with the issues needed to be taken care of before we leave.

After 8 years as pastors in Mansfield, OH the Church of God in Tanzania, Africa asked us to oversee and provide accountability for the Safina Child Sponsorship program.
