We are back in Mansfield after a weekend trip to Gallipolis, Ohio. Just off the Ohio River, the First Church of God hosted us for a Saturday evening dinner and Sunday morning services. We are so very thankful for the congregation and proud to have them as a Living Link supporter.
For the first time in a long while, I asked Deanna to drive home. I had a lesson to work on for Church that evening, so she took the wheel for the 3 hour return trip. The picture below explains why this may be the last time we switch roles. She is literally eating tiny bowls of cereal as we speed along down the highway. You'll notice as well, she is clearly not looking at the road.
In all seriousness though, Deanna is actually a very good driver. I feel obligated to mention that, based on reality and the future of our relationship.
We are finishing up some work around the house this week so that our home can finally make it on the market. Please pray for that process. Next week, I'll be headed to Tennessee for my last summer youth trip with the students here at the Church in Mansfield. A bittersweet moment.
I'll close with Elliana, as she shares from her heart.
