It's been too long... Thoughts from NAC

It really has been too long since we've written or updated. For that I apologize. It has been a hectic month since our last post, trying to raise our support team while still working full time at the church in Mansfield. Even now, I'm typing this post from the front seat of car. We've been running through meetings here at National Convention here in Anderson, and have a couple moments between engagements. Ian is sleeping in his car seat behind me, while Deanna and Elliana rest inside the missionary apartments here in town.

For the last few days we've spent the majority of our time meeting with current and former missionaries of the Church of God. It has been a joy and honor to hear the stories of people serving throughout the world. It's really quite humbling to think that we would have the opportunity to join in what God is doing.

I hope that everyone received our newsletter and the news that we have reached 25% of our support. We are so thankful to all those that have joined our team. Thank you as well for your prayers as we navigate this step in the ministry.

We are so excited to get to Tanzania, to see the faces of those we will be serving and those already working so diligently for God. Yesterday, I met with a missionary who is now in her late 80's, and listened as she told me of all the times people have asked her, "When are you going to retire." Her answer is what we hope to live by. "As long as there are places to go, and as long as there are things I can still do, I will not stop." May we all follow her vision.

Much Love,

Scott
