After 8 years as pastors in Mansfield, OH the Church of God in Tanzania, Africa asked us to oversee and provide accountability for the Safina Child Sponsorship program. After transferring leadership of that program into the hands of Tanzanians, we've followed God's call back to the U.S. Check out the postings below to stay updated on our process, life, and ministry.

Language School Part 2 - A Boring Recap
After another two weeks of language school, we have returned to Babati and now have a couple of days to repack before we hit the road again. When we depart this time, we'll be heading out to our semi-annual village visits. The goal is to visit all of our sponsored children, to see their homes, schools, and churches. And to get new pictures, new letters, and updates on all that is going on in their lives.
Perhaps it's the schedule we had at school, or that it's 12:30 in the morning here in Tanzania, but I'm tired. And consequently, I can't really think of anything interesting to write to tell you about our experience learning Swahili again. No funny anecdotes, jokes, quips, etc... So I'm just rolling out straight, boring, informative bullet points from this point on, with a couple of equally pedestrian photos for company. So, continue at your own risk of decelerated interest.
- The picture above is a snail. It's large and semi-interesting.

- We learned how fabric is made and dyed. Deanna may use this information.
- The picture above shows the kids with their teachers. They were excellent.

- We ate some food. It sustained us.

- They gave us big erasers with our notebooks. I liked playing with mine.

- I'm using these lines because the internet doesn't recognize spaces. Weird.
